I am trying to edit a form(access 97)in
which ON DBL-Click an input form for a table
that populates a combo box(limit to list
selected)opens. Problem: the form opens and
you can input new data. Then after closing,
an error message stating the 'field needs to
be saved prior to requerying' appears.

What code would be required to save the
record during the execution of the sub
updating the combo box?
And does it go in that sub, or upon exiting
the form the new table entry comes from?
