Small telecommunications-oriented company with existing Cobol/HP-3000
(MPE) products looking for programmer to help create client-server and
Windows-based software in Visual Basic.  Extensive experience in creating
VB screens (nothing too fancy) and database access from VB (using ODBC).  
Database experience in Access and/or Oracle preferred.  Experience with
Client-server UNIX a plus, ability to read and comprehend legacy Cobol
code a plus.

Position begins as part time/contract, may be expanded to
full-time/salary.  Compensation is negotiable and competitive.

Orange County/Los Angeles/San Diego area.
