Hello, lately ive had these errors when i try to run programs created 2
months ago.

Cant open a database created with a previous version of your application.
I use Access 7 MDB

the other error comes when i create a setup disk set.

it tells me that the dependency files of most all the ms..  vb ocxs are out
of date..

what can be happening and what can I do????

I've had this happen before, and I'm still not sure why. I was able to fix
it by deleting all references to DAO from the registry, running regclean,
and re-running an install kit that installs the 2.5/3.5 DAO compatibility
library.

Your first problem is strange.
                 Only suggestions I have, not sure
                        1. Can you open the database using Access? If
you can't then database may have been corrupted
                        2. Is the database local to machine,  if not
bring local for testing puposes
                        3. Can you open other databases in access and
other databases from Visual Basic?
                        4 .  Start a new project,  copy code in it and
add forms back in .   This rules out project corruption.

You should get somewhere with those trouble shooting steps.  IF your
having problems with other databases then it could
be bad install of access 97.

Also, another excellent resource is the msdn and the microsoft web site.
They have many "How To" articles, examples and good for finding aritcles
that resolve your error messages.
