VB 4.0, ANSI SQL '89, complex queries?
Can VB 4.0 perform complex, sophisticated SQL queries using only
the Jet 3.0 engine?
I see in the documentation that VB/Jet supports ANSI SQL, circa 1989,
excluding transactions and combining DISTINCT with aggregate
functions. Does it really?
Has anyone tried any sophisticated nested queries, or complex
multitable joins (3 or 4 tables) who can comment on how well
the Jet 3.0 engine works?
I realize VB 4.0 is best coupled with Oracle, SQL-server, etc.,
but all I will have for a while is VB 4.0...
