Hello everybody,

I've an Access 2.0 database with sound-files stored in an OLE-field.
How can I play these sound-files from within my VB 3.0 app?

By the way, is storing sound in OLE-fields the best method? Or should I
store the filenames in a text-field; then I can use the MCI-control.

Does anyone know a good book about developing multimedia applications
with VB?

I am looking for the same thing for Access 95/97.   My reason for wanting
to do this is application security and the simplicity of one file.  I have
posted this problem before - how to play a wave file stored in an access
database - and never gotten an answer.  I hope someone can help us out.
