Not out of the box, and not without some help.  You will need the ESQL/C
runtime and an ODBC driver installed on your client machine as well.
ESQL/C for Informix should ship with your Informix client software (the
stuff like dbaccess, isql, etc. that can be run from client machines).  VB
doesn't ship with an Informix ODBC driver, you'll need to get that from
either Informix or directly from the sources, either Intersolv or
Visigenic.
