BeginTrans/CommitTrans is generating a Permission Denied
message when i try to compile my VB4.0 program into an exe
file. it still compiles fine using F5. it didnt use to have
this problem.only thing i can figger is that i reinstalled
VB4.0 on my hard drive using new set of diskettes from
microsoft. could one of the dll files be incompatible?

i tried replacing my current dao file with the original (i
had stored on another machine) but it didnt help, if i note
out the Trans code, though, the program compiles to an exe
just fine.

i've seen similar messages like this posted over the past
year, but have yet to see a solution.
