i am having trouble copying long files name from unix or even renaming
them
to 8.3 files names  using Visual Basic 4 for 16 bit development
I tried the (filecopy command) it does not work on unix......
how to use RPC . all suggestions and functions are welcomed
i tried the truncated name as it appeard in do it does not work
the net work uses tcp/ip
desparete in nc   help
