I don't know about that, but I'd tend to doubt it as no other version has
had the "save in previous rev" option.  One outside possibility --- check
with Microsoft and find out if you buy VB6 if you can get VB5 for a nominal
fee or if you can still purchase VB5.  I remember seeing that VB5 owners
could get VB4 essentially for the shipping/handling costs so maybe the same
thing will hold with VB6.

There are many software vendors here on the net.  just buy the vb5 learning
addition for school.  Problem solved!

I'm in the exact same situation. I bought VB6 then ordered a copy of
VB5 for a small fee ($15 or so). I had the program (CD only, no docs)
within 3 days.

VB6 does not change the forms header but it adds properties. Such as

CausesValidation, DataFormat, and DataMember. (mostly to bindable controls
such as a textbox)

Unless you want to go through all your code and pull out all these extra
things VB5 wont load it.
