MS Visual Basic 4.0 vs. Borland C++ 5.0

I am using VB4.0 with SDE 2.11 from Successware for system
development. If you familiar with xBase programming style, VB will be
a good alternative (+ SDE). However, I am having a lot of problems
with
Crystal Report.
I am not using the Jet that came with my 4.0 cause I do not have the
time to learn so much thing.
