
open Access table = locked Access table??
When you open a database in Access there is a check box labelled
"Exclusive". If this is checked, no other application will be able to open
the database. Page level locking only comes into effect if the database is
not exclusively locked. You can also lock an individual table, with
"ShareDenyRead". Page level locking will only come into effect if neither of
these is true.
