In QBasic, the Paint command will fill a random closed figure
with the selected character.  There does not seem to be a
similar command in VB.  After researching the API, I decided
that FloodFill would do the same thing.  However, I cannot make
it work.  Can anyone help?  This is my code:

Private Sub Form_MouseDown(Button As Integer, Shift As Integer,
X As Single, Y As Single)
Dim i, j, k, l, f As Integer
Dim c As Long

i = VENN.hWnd 'the Form name
c = Shape1(1).BorderColor 'Shape1(1) and Shape1(2) are
'overlapping circles.  I want to fill the overlap.
j = GetDC(i)
f = FloodFill(j, X, Y, c)
k = ReleaseDC(i, j)
End Sub
