 InStr(cC(i), '/') vs InStr(cC(i), "/")

Is there a reason why

InStr(cC(i), '/')

fails but

InStr(cC(i), "/")

is OK?

Or is it just to be annoying?

You have to encompass a string variable in quotes.  It doesn't work if you use
apostrophes as far as I know.
