Database sharing with VB 4.0 and 32-bit Novell client

Hello,

We have a customer using a Novell server version 3.12. On the PCs, they
have installed the 32-bit client from Novell.

We have developped an application divided in 2 executables files working
together on the same PC and accessing the same database on a server. In
fact, the first program accesses the database in read/write mode. And
then the second program accesses the same database in read-only mode.

It works perfectly on an NT server with Windows 3.1 or 95 clients. It
works perfectly on a Novell server with Windows 3.1 clients.

But it doesn't work on a Novell server with Windows 95 PC running the
32-bit client from Novell. The first program can open the database, but
the second program cannot. We get an error 3050 : "Can't lock file,
SHARE.EXE is not loaded."

We loaded SHARE in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, but it didn't change anything.
Then we looked at the "sharable" property of the database files. It was
switched OFF. So we switched it ON and we rebooted the PC. No change.

Now we are stopped. Can somebody help us ? Thank you.
