I have the following problem.

I am supposed to make a Visual Basic program that does a query in a table
on a sybase-database.

Having programmed VB for about 2 hours I have the following question:

How do I code the statements needed for acessing the database? I've tried
the examples in the help-files, examples on the net and so on, but so far
no luck and I'm getting pretty desperate.

Any help would be appreciated.
