 Saving file to Windows NT 2000 volume

My app is returning a nil object error when running a Mac and saving to a
Windows NT 2000 server volume. I can't figure out what the problem is. It
works fine when saving to a local Mac volume. Anyone else have problems with
this.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Do I need to do something different saving
to a Windows Volume?

Here my save file method:

Sub writePSfile()
  //
  Dim dlg as SaveAsDialog
  Dim f as FolderItem
  Dim fileStream As TextOutputStream
  dim name as string

  dlg=New SaveAsDialog
  //dlg.InitialDirectory=Volume(0).Child("Mac OS 9")  //
  dlg.promptText="Enter a filename"
  dlg.SuggestedFileName="SwatchTest_1.ps"
  dlg.Title="Save postscript As"
  f=dlg.ShowModal()
  If f <> Nil then
    fName=f.name

    psCode=psCode +"%%EOF"  // DSC

    fileStream=f.CreateTextFile
    fileStream.WriteLine psCode
    fileStream.Close
    return
  Else
    //user canceled
    beep
  exception err as NilObjectException
    MsgBox "NIL!! Something is wrong!"
  End if

End Sub
