JPEG download via TCP/IP (Socket Control)

I'd like to know how I can download JPEG images from the Internet with the
Socket control (maintaining file integrity) and save them to disk,
recognizable and usable as JPEG files (maybe setting the creator/file
type?). Thanks a lot!
