If you have the floppy version, you're out of luck.  Even though it would
seem like free software, QBasic is commercial software.  It is
distributed only with MS-DOS 5.0 and above.  That's the only way you can
get it.  In the Copyright Information section of the program's Help, it
explicitly states that users are only authorized to make one copy, and
that may only be for backup purposes.

You might want to get a hold of Micro$oft to see if they have any offers
for users of the floppy verion of Win95.

I need help, I have found out that I don't have QBASIC because of
Windows '95 so I can't run a program I got.  HOw do I get QBASIC so I
can run it.

Otherwise, hmm, your old DOS disks might have QBASIC.EXE right on them
without being compressed or anything.  Try it and report back.

        try ftp.micorsoft.com. I believe they have a file there that helps
to fill in some of the gaps that these newer versions of DOS/WIN leave,
like no QBasic. Sorry I can't help you with the file name.
