Stored procedures in Access Office 95 and 97

 Stored procedures in Access Office 95 and 97

Help,
has any body ever executed a STORED PROCEDURE operation into an ACCESS
DATABASE.  I keep getting SQL errors
The Language used to store into the database is JAVA. (Am posting this
in the JAVA newsgroup also).

 Stored procedures in Access Office 95 and 97

Sorry but ACCESS doesn't support stored procedures. The Microsoft
Jet Engine, does, but only as pass-thru SQL to a database that does.
ACCESS is a low end database that just doesn't have the Oracle style
stuff.

Remember a stored procedure is done by CALL.

If you think it does, how did you store the procedure in ACCESS?
On an Oracle database, you create the procedure, then store it in
the database. A CALL with parameter then accesses that procedure.
