Does anyone know how to play .CMF files (Creative Music Files) through
the soundblaster in QB 4.0? I saw some source for this in
ABCsomething.zip but none of it works. Con someone help?

Are you against buying libraries? I see your posts all over the place
for basic code to do laborious routines and some impossible routines
in Quick Basic. Most of your worries would be gone if you simply
research the world of "Third Part Libraries". Let them do the leg work
and reward them with some money.

Many of the routines that you asked for require more that just the
source code to handle the immediate task. Most require and
understanding of what you are getting yourself into (i.e. non standard
graphics modes 640x480x256).
