Adding Comment Blocks To GIF and JPEG files.

I'm trying to create graphics for my web page but I'd like to add a
comment block on my images with a copyright message.  Is this possible
in BASIC?  I need them for both GIFs and JPEGs.

If you don't know what I mean, here is an example.  In Gif
Construction Set, whenever you use the unregistered version, it puts a
comment block saying that.  That is what I am trying to do.

I know it probably won't keep people from copying the pictures, but it
would be nice to have a comment block saying that the image is
copyright.

Why do it in BASIC? No matter what, they can download & save it. If the
copyright isn't part of the image, then they can just ignore the *C*
notice.

Solution?

Use any picture editor (Paint Shop Pro is good - *SHAREWARE* too! ) to
add your text to the image.

It is better to have a notice than not to have one.

I did that and the images look ugly.
