 Running EXE.(QuickBasic4.5) on stand-alone Microcomputer

I am working with a PC linked serially to a microcomputer.  The company I
bought the microcomputer from had an example program which I was able to
transfer over to the SSD and run.  However, when I transfer over my EXE.,
composed from QuickBasic 4.5, it says "permission denied at address
0777:0045".  The company said that their program doesn't open any files,
but didn't have any other ideas.  I took an example program from
QuickBasic 4.5, thinking it might be something in my program.  Same
problem.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What are you using to link the two machines?  ie: Win95 "briefcase",
Smartlink, etc
It might just be a disk sharing discrepency in the software (Win95 is
famous for this) config.
Check any configuration options that even remotely resemble disk sharing
and be sure to enable it/them.
IOW, it's not a BASIC problem, IMHO.  :)  Good luck with it, tho.
