QBasic Compiler!

powerbasic 2.1 should compile your QBasic
programs with very little modification.

This is the only inexpensive QBasic
compiler that I know of. Please forgive the
blatant advertising aspect of this post,
but it answers the question:
"Where can I get a QBasic compiler?"

There has been some talk about a shareware
PBasic compiler. On page 2 of the "PowerBasic
Gazette" Volume 2 Issue 1 (postmarked May 20th)
it says:
"Download a copy of the new shareware
PBasic compiler for DOS and give a
copy to a friend or upload it to your
favorite BBS. PBasic is the only
      shareware Basic compiler which is
      fully compatible with your GWBASIC
      and BASICA source code."
Note: It says nothing about being compatible
with your QBasic source code. Whenever this
compiler is finally uploaded to the PB site,
(still vaporware as of 1st July), perhaps
someone can test drive it and see if it is
QBasic compatible? It will sell for:
$25.00 plus $4.00 S&H ($10.00 Intl).
