Updating Crystal Report data at run time.

Updating Crystal Report data at run time.

I've got a question about Crystal Reports and I would like you to help
me,
if it is possible. The question is this:

When I include a report defined by Crystal Reports in any application, I
can
execute it with the code "Report1.Action = 1", responding to any event in
the
program, but the modified data in the Database at run time is not refreshed
automatically; instead, it only shows data of the last printing.
So, how can I make the data to be updated in the report before a new
printing?
(at run time, of course). I thought I could do this by means of:

     File/Options/Refresh data on every print

through Report Designer in Visual Basic, but it has no effect anyway. Until
now, the only way I had to do this was by means of the lightning bolt
button
in the Print Preview window in Report Designer.

                                                   Thank you.
