What does a "E15 Operand Error" mean?  I'm working on a school
assignment, and the assembler doesn't like a bunch of MVCs in my
program and is giving me those errors and I'm not sure why.

Before I can answer this question I need to know a couple of things.  First,
what is the error code associated with this error message and secondly, what
assembler are you using?? (i.e Assembler "F", Waterloo Assembler "G" , Assembler
"H").  I don't think you are running Asm "H" since I looked up all its error messages
and could not find this.  Awaiting your reply and good luck....

Most likely he misspelled R15, but as you say more information would be
helpful.

There is something wrong with the operands on the mvc instruction.
Either the operand is not an area of storage, or is not long enough.
What type of assembler are you using.  I do not recognize the e15
message.  Is it the high-level assembler, assembler h or f?
There are quite a few problems that may produce such a message.
