 64-bit addresses

There was a mention recently about 64-bit addresses in MVS. The new
HLASM V1R4 suports 2 new constant types among other things:

    FD - doubleword-aligned 8-byte fixed point constant
    AD - doubleword-aligned 8-byte address constant

I guess 64-bit adressing is not too far away!!!

Pierre.

 64-bit addresses
At first there will be support for RSM and then the OS/390 basic add-on (e.g
USS).
Maybe in 2002 we can talk about the applications
