Determining if a folder is a local pst folder or a imap (server folder)

Hi all,

Does anyone know in code how to determine if a folder is
from a local pst(Personal Folder) or is from a imap source
(server folder).

I need to distinguish between local and server accounts.

thanks
Matt

I don't think you can using VBA.  Maybe you can add an identifier in the
Description field for the root folder of the PST, so that you can later
differentiate between the different store types.

Or, using CDO, get the InfoStores collection from the Session object, and
check the ProviderName property of the InfoStore object.  It's probably
either "Personal Folders" or "Microsoft Exchange Server".
