MS Access failed to create the Visual Basic Module

Hi: re: office 2K

Can anyone help me with the error message I am getting
when trying to use the access toolbar to add a command
button. Sometimes I get the error message "MS Access
failed to create the Visual Basic Module" sometimes it
is "cant find the project or library". I have checked the
VB tools references and all the following are installed,
VBE6.dll, MSACC9.OLB, STDP:E2.TLB and MSADO15.DLL. have
also installed all the updates to Office 2000.

MS Knowledge base hasn't been of any use and I am at the
end of my tether. Thanks

Project corruption?

Try /decompile to see if you can salvage the project.

-Thanks but this hasn't helped. I have even created a
brand new project with totally fresh everything and still
the same problem. Also uninstalled and reinstalled Access,
no good, Any other suggestions??

The project is clearly not going to be able to be retrieved if nothing
allows you get around that error.

MS Access failed to create the Visual Basic Module
After you uninstall 2K, try using the XP resource kit tools
(download from MS) to really clean it out before you re-install.
