I want to read data sent to the serial port from an external device and
place it in my database.

There was an object in previous VB versions by witch this was done.
Searching the VBA handbook and the web, I could not find something
similar and was wondering if I am looking in the wrong place.

So, the question is: How to read data from the serial port by using vba
for Access 2k.
