 Macro that lists findings

Hi,

I would like a macro that:
Looks in a specified directory for all doc files.
Searches each file for green font
    Closes each file
Writes to another doc file e.g. list.doc somewhere, a list of each file
that it found that has green font in it.

I don't have to change the green font to anything... I just need to know if
there is any !!
I'm good at knowing what I want, and bad at working out how to do it !

Can anyone help?

Elizabeth

You'll need to learn how to program macros, or pay someone to do it for you.

Take a look at the list of Word VBA books at
