Insert data from Excel 97 into Word 97

Insert data from Excel 97 into Word 97

I am trying to insert data from Excel 97 into Word 97. When I use the option
'Paste Special - Picture' in Word, it does not paste data from Excel past a
certain width (without changing cell widths, column R or 32.75cm). On the
Paste Special dialog box, it shows that the cell containing the data have
been selected.

If I insert the data using 'Paste Special - Bitmap' it inserts all the data.

The reason I am using 'Paste Special - Picture' is for the printing quality.

What I have written a Marco which selects all the data from and Excel sheet,
and insert it into a Word file which has pre-formatted boarder around the
inserted data, and then prints it out. The pre-formatted boarder must be
around the inserted data for quality issues!

Does anyone know how the insert the full width of the selected text, using
the 'Paste Special - Picture' method. Or is there a better way of inserting
the data from Excel into Word.

Thanks for any help,

Regards

James

Hi Jim,

Mmmmm. Have you tried copying in Excel as a picture, then simply pasting into
Word? (I think you may have to hold down Shift before clicking the Edit menu
to get the "Copy as picture" command)
