Can anyone help???? I am currently using I.E.5. Any time I type in
information within a web page text field (like a search engine text box), IE
5.5 drops down a list of things I have type in the past.

Please is there a way of disabling this function, or is there a program out
there that periodically deletes this information ?

I am currently learning Visual Basic 6 does anyone have VB source code that
does this.

Your crossposting was excessive and unnecessary.  Follow up has been set to internetexplorer.win95 only and all other groups will be removed from any future replies.

All you need to do is go to IE tools, internet options, content, autocomplete and turn off all options.
