How to make word2000 to always use absolute path, when inserting hyperlinks
and linked pictures, rahter then converting them to paths relative to
document?

Are you inserting hyperlinks to bookmarks, etc inside the document, or are
you inserting hyperlinks to pages outside the document (a website for
instance)?  The hyperlinks should be absolute.
