How to check if WordMail is active?

Hello,

how can i check which editor settings the user has without creating a mail
item or checking ActiveInspector.EditorType (this starts Word which gives a
long delay if Word is the mail editor).

Thanks in advance,
Ralf

Look in the registry:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Options\Mail\UseWordMail

It's a DWORD and 0 means no WordMail.

Hello,

meanwhile i found this place in the registry by myself. Because i do not
like to use undocumented entrys in the registry i thought that there would
be a more "official" way to read out the settings (like the Options-Object
in Word). It looks like i have to live with this solution...

Thanks,
Ralf
