Not enough memory (Error 2004)

 Not enough memory (Error 2004)

Not enough memory (Error 2004).  Can you get this in Access97 even if
Windows is controlling your virtual memory and you have plenty of hard
drive space?????

We can see the c:\Windows\Win386.swp swap file growing when other
applications are opened.

This is an ODBC application.  Maybe that's involved.

Anybody got a clue?  Thanks.

Here is a MS Knowledge Base that covers what you are talking about:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q191/7/43.ASP

After you read the article, the fix is to update JET 3.5 (here it is)
http://support.microsoft.com/download/support/mslfiles/Jet35sp3.exe

Hope this helps,

Thanks,  I never even thought of that.  I forgot to check this user's
version of Jet.
