I am needing to change the file location option of the
workgroup template folder within ms word on many systems.
I would like accomplish this through a small program that
can be emailed out and the user can simply run the .exe
and it will automate the process without any further
interaction. Any suggestions, pointers to other places,
actual code, help would greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why not dish out a small start-up template which, when starting, sets the
workgroup template?

First of all; is the start-up folder the same for each person?    Or, can
the users see a common folder on the LAN?
