Custom Contact form - date selector

Custom Contact form - date selector

I'm designing a custom contact form in Outlook 2002 and
wanted to be able to have date stamps similar to the
Birthday / Anniversary section of the details tab.

When I try to create my own field OR drag the anniversary
field from the field chooser the drop down button which
allows you to scroll through the monthly dates does not
appear. (I have run the form)

Does it require a command button or is there a property
I'm missing for the date field?

thanks

The field chooser only provides you with a text box control for date fields.
However, there are plenty of options for third-party date/time picker
controls. For details, please see:

Is there not a way of replicating the date picker already
used by the birthday field on the details tab using the
outlook toolbox (or elsewhere)?
