This should theoretically be possible. I've had Access 2000 and Access 97
installed on the same machine for many months with no problems. However,
when your A2K runtime installs, you need to be sure that you install to a
different drive letter than the one holding Office 97.

Richard,

Most probably.  I've distributed apps in Access 97 runtime to people
using Access 2.0 and Access 95, without messing up their full commercial
installations.

I have no firsthand experience with 2000, but I would be surprised if
doesn't work.

Why on earth would you want to distribute an app written in a Beta
product? What's going to happen when the Beta expires?

We are a select member of microsoft, we just got the release version.
Besided, this is forward thinking, many months from now.   I know I want to
use 2000 because of some of the jet engine advances, particularly the record
level locking...I am not sure my client will upgrade as fast as I do,
however.
