Hello,
we are using Office97(SR2) under NT4 (Sp4). On two PCs from 10 PCs i can't
run the VB-Editor. If i try in Excel97 ALT+F11 i saw the Editor for 2
Seconds then the Worksheet returns. If i use the Add-In Manager from Excel97
i get the Message "Systemerror &H800700057 (-21470 24809) Parameter is
wrong". If i try in Word97 ALT+F11 the Message "Could not open Macro
storage" appears. Then VB-Editor opens but i can't do a thing, only switch
back to Word97.

I think it is a very deap Problem, but how can i fix it.

Q162053 from MS Kolegebase don't work.
New installation from Office97 CD don't fix the Problem.
Deactivation of all Add-In Modules don't work.
From Commandline "Excel /UNREGERVER" then "Excel /REGSERVER" don't work.
From Commandline "REGSRV32 /VBE.DLL" don't fix the Problem.

What else can i do????

Have you seen KB WD2000: Error Messages When Starting the
Visual Basic Editor [Q212669]

I'd suspect low system resources.
