Data Access Pages for Internet access

Hi,

How do I configure the connection string of a data access
page for use on a web server to be accessable from a
browser on the Internet?

I'm using Office 2002, the .mdb file is in a virtual
folder with an .htm file that can be seen on the Internet.

I can see the dap page on the host machine as well as from
the local area network, but connecting from the Internet
produces this error message:

"Microsoft Office Web Components could not open the
database 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\xxx.mdb'"

This is the correct local path to the database, but why
see that in the browser?  I changed the connection string
path to \\host\share\path_to_mdb to make it available on
the LAN.  How do I configure it for Internet access?

Thanks much,
Deac
