Is there any way of editing the outlbar.fav file?

I want to delete a customised shortcut from the outlook
shortcut bar - without needing to:
Manually right click and delete
Reset to default using '/resetoutllooktoolbar'

I have tried some VB code which gets rid of it, but only
for the current session of Outlook.

Any ideas dudes?
