97 runtime slow with Office 95

Does anyone have any knowledge of Access 97 rutime applications running
2-300 times slower when running on a system with Office 95 installed. I can
find nothing on the KB.

The exact situation is an app that is running on 1,000+ workstations is
running slow on one or two. An example is attaching ten tables from another
97 mdb via code takes a few seconds on most workstations but an hour on
others. The two or three that are having a performance problem are running
Windows 95 A (Norwegian) and Office 95 Standard (Norwegian). Similar PCs in
the same office running with either Win 98 or Office 97 have no such
problem.

Are there any known performance issues with Office 95 and Access 97
runtime??

Thanks in advance

I had similar problems where it turned out the network cable was damaged.

happens when those attached tables are local, but I think my only option is
to recreate his setup on one of my own machines....

I have no such problem with 97 runtime and Office 95.
The only similar problems I have experienced have been
network failures.

You should of course apply the Jet upgrade to
Jet 3.51 on the Office 95 machines.
