Access-outlook attachments
Go to the MS Access Developer's website at www.microsoft.com/accessdev/ and
look in the files library for the white paper "Programming Microsoft
Outlook from Microsoft Access 97, and get the sample database accoutdb.exe.
Discusses and shows samples for everything. There are several articles
there on automation as well that deal with this.
