 changes to VBA

I have heard that there will be something based on VB.NET
replacing VBA.  I would greatly hearing from someone at
Microsoft knowledgeable on the subject.  Their sales staff
barely knows what I am talking about.  If there is
something in the works, I would like to know how to get a
beta or alpha.

 changes to VBA
Hi Peter,

Microsoft has made no announcement on the subject, and so the sales staff
are hardly likely to know anything. I understand that VB.NET is not going to
be included in the next version of Office, but no plans have been published
for the version after, so your guess is as good as mine.

There are quite major issues associated with replacing VBA with VB.NET in
Office which might be giving Microsoft a reason to hesitate over it. I wrote
about this in an article a while back. Take a look here.

 changes to VBA
MSFT has announced that Office will be .NET-ized in the time frame of the
Yukon release of VS .NET, so if that does not happen in Office 11, it will
happen in Office 12, as the Roadmap for VS .NET, in which the announcement
occurred, covered 2002-2004,
