Hello,

I have created a toolbar in Word which contains various buttons and
combo-boxes.

One of these buttons loads up my HTML based Help File System.

I would like to know if its possible to load up HTML Help File(s) when the
user hovers over a button and perhaps uses a keyboard shortcut or something
to load up a specific help file (much like a web page can access a specific
part of a page)...

For example, when the user hovers over the "Help" Button - they could do a
"Ctrl + H" to load up the specific Help File -
"user_help.html#helpButton"...

Is there anything like this available to me to use...?

Is there anything similar anyone could suggest which might be just as
effective...?

nope - no such way to determine if the tooltip has show etc. Ya need
to click on something that is set to trigger off your code.
