Urgent help required please.

How do you put an access database back to the default security settings, and
how to read from the default workgroup file (system.mdw) after it has been
set up to read from a user defined workgroup file?

How has it been set up to read from a different workgroup.  If it has a
shortcut, you will want to look at the properties of the shortcut to see if
it is pointing to a specific workgroup.

Second, check your system out and see if you are using the workgroup
information file that you think you are using.  By changing the workgroup
information file, you actually change it for all of your access databases,
not just one specifically unless of course it is a complied project, and has
been distributed using the ode tools.

To check your workgroup go to the run command line in the Start menu, and
type 'wrkgadm' this will bring up the workgroup information.  If it is not
what you expected then you can change it here.
