 (c) instead of "copyright"

I'm trying to enter (c) into a field in a table, but
Access97 in it's ever-knowing wisdom changes the "(c)"
into the copyright symbol. I just want "(c)".

I've tried adding spaces then deleting, and playing all
sorts of ways with how I type it in, but to no avail.

Is there some trick I'm missing?

Thanks in advance,

Sean

remove the "zz" if you need to email me.

 (c) instead of "copyright"
(I am using A97 ...)

On your FormView, use the Menu Tools / AutoCorrect ...

* Uncheck any AutoCorrect feature you don't want to use.

* "(c)" is probably included in the AutoCorrection list.  Find it and delete
the row.

Also, you can turn autocorrect off for just the control on the form.  On the
Other tab of the properties sheet there is a property called Allow Autocorrect.
