All of VB experts,

I would like to develop a signature capture application using VB.
Now, I can control a scanner to scan the application form as TIFF format via
third-parity
OCX. I want to provide a CLIPPING function to retain only the necessary zone
instead
of entire image, which process will be controlled by end-user. The users
will select
the part of image (signature)  using mouse and save as a new tiff file.

Could I do that?
Which third-parity components can be provide above function?
