Change background color of Form Field

Hi

I would like to change the back ground color of form fields on my document,
so that when I print the document, user-entered text stands out.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I tried borders & shading, but that changes the background behind the form
field, not in the form field itself.

THANKS!
B

I don't think you can change the background color of a form field. You can
change the character formatting, though. Make it underlined, or use a
different font color... Or you can keep the form field shading activated
(button on the Forms toolbar) so that it has a gray background.
