Sending mail in RTF whiteout using mail merge?

Sending mail in RTF whiteout using mail merge?

Hi

Is it possible to send a word document as a mail from
code not using mail merge in RTF?

We have a vb6 application that uses a word 2000 template
with several macros for making bills and receipts. We
don't use mail merge in these templates. The VBA macros
do the formatting with the data from the vb6 app.

Now I want to construct a macro that I can call form the
vb6 app that make it possible to send this document as a
mail, whiteout using mail merge and send the document as
a RTF text.

The macro has to able to send the document automatically
(whiteout any user interaction).

Thanks

I cover mail in my VBA FAQ on my blog, one if its refs is also to the
MVP site, both of these are in my Signature Block at the extreme
bottom of this message.

Thanks for your help. I tried implementing the
suggestions from the "Word MVP FAQ". It made sending mail
easy, but the formatting is lost from the document. Is
there any way to keep this?
